The North Georgia Master Gardeners are presenting a two day workshop and a community lecture on invasive species that threaten Georgia’s native species. The workshop in October 17 and 18 and the lecture is the evening of October 17.

Workshop
Help combat invasive species. The North Georgia Master Gardeners and the UGA Center for Invasive Species will present a two day workshop on October 17 and 18 in Fannin County on how to identify, report and eradicate invasive species that threaten Georgia’s native species. Community Lecture
Learn how you can help identify and eradicate invasive species in Georgia. Karan Rawlins from the UGA Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health of the will present a free lecture on invasive species that threaten Georgia’s native plants and animals on Monday, October 17, at 7:00 pm at St. Anthony Church, 967 E. Main Street in Blue Ridge . The event is sponsored by the North Georgia Master Gardeners.
