The 36th Annual Labor Day Bar-B-Q was held in downtown Blue Ridge over the week-end. The event was kicked off with a Pic-Nic-Nac on Saturday with breakfast and lunch concessions and Nic-Nac’s for sale from local nonprofits. Sunday was community worship followed by an ice cream social. Pastors of different faiths came together and song leaders led congregational singing of old time hymns.
Monday was the day for delicious Bar-B-Q while listening to gospel and bluegrass. The weather was beautiful and large crowds gathered for the festivities sponsored by the Good Samaritans of Fannin County, Inc.
