The Fannin County High School FFA officers volunteered at the Feed Fannin Community Gardens. They mowed, landscaped, worked in the garden, and painted. The project was a goal that was set be newly elected officers to get their year of service kicked off.

Fannin County High School FFA Chapter members attended the Area 1 Awards Banquet on May 10, 2016. The awards banquet was held at Chattahoochee Technical College in Jasper. Members were awarded for their outstanding accomplishments for the year. They received an award plaque and a cash award if they placed in the top 3 in any of the FFA Area 1 Career Development Events. The chapter received the 2nd place National FFA Week application award, Seth Davis received first place in the Nursery Operations proficiency Award, Trey Campbell received the 2nd place lawnmower and Maintenance Career Development Event Award, Lakota Towe received the 2nd place Reporters Award. Seth Davis and Trey Campbell served as the official voting delegates for the chapter.
