Fannin Runoff Results by Voting Precinct

17.37% (2381 people) of  Fannin voters cast ballots in the July 26, 2016 Chief Magistrate Judge and School Board runoffs.

In the Chief Magistrate Judge race, Brian Jones won over Sherri Walker by 156 votes and a margin of  6.6%.

 

In the School Board race, Chad Galloway won over Clarence Farmer by 411 votes and a margin of 18.7%.

Neither candidate has a Democrat nor Independent opponent in November.  So, both Chad Galloway and Brian Jones have been elected to to their positions.

The next time Fannin County goes to the polls is the General Election on November 8th.  At this election, voters will be choosing the President, US Congress seats, State Congress seats,  state referendums, local candidates and SPLOST referendum.  The only local race with a Democrat on the ticket is the Fannin County Sheriff’s race.

Early voting begins   If you are not registered to vote, you must register by October 11th to vote in the November election.  Early voting begins October 17th.  Saturday voting is October 29th.  The General Election is Tuesday, November 8th.  All Fannin County poll locations will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
