Mr. Rudy A. Stoecker: Obituary

Rudy A. Stoecker 43, of Lilburn, Georgia died on Saturday July 23, 2016 at his home in Lilburn, Georgia surrounded by family after a hard fought battle of cancer. The funeral Mass will be held Monday July 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Copper Hill, TN. Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery, Copperhill, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Sunday July 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Mr. Stoecker was born March 10, 1973. He was a member of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Lilburn Georgia. He attended elementary schools in Tifton, Ga and Tucker, Ga. He graduated from Shamrock High School in Decatur, Ga and Gwinnett Technical College. Rudy flourished in his career as technical support and was employed at Home Federal Loan Bank in Atlanta, Ga. He was an avid tennis player on both ALTA (Atlanta Lawn Tennis Team and USTA Atlanta (United States Tennis Association) and enjoyed line dancing. He was preceded in death by his Father Vernon D. Stoecker and a sister Rosita Stoecker.

Rudy is survived by his Mother Fran Stoecker, of Blue Ridge, Ga; sisters and brothers –in-laws Susan and Bobby Rowe of Monroe, GA ; Joi Stoecker and Allen Hwang of Frisco, TX; nephews and nieces Cody, Deanna and Matt Rowe, and Andrew and Ella Hwang.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Radiology.
