Mrs. Nancy Berry Poore, age 78 of Blue Ridge, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Poore was born June 20, 1938 in Atlanta, GA to the late Raymond Berry and the late Eulalia Reynolds Berry. A member of the Epworth First Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Helen McDaniel. Nancy worked in banking in Cobb and Fulton Counties. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and gardening in her flower beds.
Survivors include loving husband, Jerry Poore, son, Charles (Debra) Poore, daughter, Karen Poore, brother, John Berry, two sisters, Shirley Olmstead and Martha Cummins and grandson, Andrew (Katie Mae) Poore.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Epworth First Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. She will lie-in-state at the Church from 10-11 am. Music provided by Rev. Doug Simonds. Interment will follow in the Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm.
