Mr. James Lloyd Hill, age 56, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2016 at Emory St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta. He was born on April 18, 1960 in Detroit, MI to Lloyd O’Neal Hill and Claudette Ann Paris Gray. He retired as a crewman for Abtrax and was a member of Woodhaven Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife and friend, Belinda Hill of Mineral Bluff; sons, J.R. Hill of Murphy, Lloyd Hill of Blue Ridge, and Cody Hill of Mineral Bluff; daughters, Melissa Hill of Blue Ridge and Samantha Hill of Murphy; mother Claudette Gray and husband Johnny of Blue Ridge; father Lloyd O’Neal Hill and wife Donna of Taylor, MI; brothers, Jeffery Hill of Marine City, MI, David Gray of Blue Ridge, Pete Gray of McCaysville, Mike McKinney of Morganton, and Danny McKinney of High Point, NC; sisters, Jammia Duval of Mineral Bluff and Jennifer Baughman of Taylor, MI; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Gary Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: J.R. Hill, Lloyd Hill, Cody Hill, Jeff Hill, Wesley Duvall, and Don Meinke.
