Mr. Danny Lee Ritchie, age 65, of Epworth, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Copper Basin Medical Center. He was born in Polk County, TN to George Woodfin and Ollie Davenport Ritchie on May 9, 1951. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. He retired from Fannin County where he worked in Maintenance. He was preceded in death by his father, George Woodfin Ritchie.

He is survived by his mother, Ollie Davenport Ritchie of Epworth; brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Kay Ritchie of Epworth; and sister, Sheila Patterson of Asheville, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2016 from the Millsaps Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Graves and Rev. Marvin Young officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Franklin, Chris Graham, Len Crawford, Bo Chance, Benny Ritchie, and David Miller. Kell Green and Marvin Young will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will visit with friends at Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Friday Evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
