Jewell Cornett Bennett Bramlett, age 65, of Blue Ridge, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at her home. She was born June 24, 1950, in Fannin County to the late William James and Mildred Carol Stanley Cornett.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Bramlett of Suches; Sons, Erik Bennett of Blue Ridge and Chad Bennett of Hugoton, KS; step-daughter, Amelia Collins of Suches; brother, Junior Cornett of Blue Ridge; sister, Diane Bowers of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Ryland Bennett, Carson Bennett, Jordan Bennett, Rachel Young, Reagan Young, Elijah Weaver, and Emmie Collins; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge. Min. Terry Stuart will officiate. Personal remarks will be by James Cornett. Interment will follow in the O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: James Cornett, Will Cornett, James Taylor, Tim McFarland, Chris Griffin, and Ronnie Cornett.
