Mr. Irvin Lynn McHan: Obituary

Mr. Irvin Lynn McHan, age 74 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home. Mr. McHan was born May 12, 1941 in McMinn County, TN to the late Davis McHan and the late Ella Mae Dailey McHan. He was Baptist in faith. Lynn worked as a Manager for UPS and served his country enlisting in the U.S. Army. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, reading and walking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Marcella Frick, and brother, James McHan.

Survivors include: daughter, Jennifer (Eddie) Good, son, Christopher (Rebecca) McHan, his loving friend, Reba Looper, brother, Charles (Martha) McHan, brother, Ray (Anne) McHan, sister, Susan (Danny Ray) Mason, grandson, Wesley Myers and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Al Patterson officiating. Music will be provided by Mike and Cheri Young and Jimmy Helton. Pallbearers include Don Frick, David McHan, Sam McHan, Robert McHan, Mike Mason, Kenny McHan, Jason McHan, and Russell Looper. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery in Turtletown.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Monday, April 11, 2016, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Copper Basin Crisis Center (5260 Hwy 64, Copperhill, TN 37317) or to Harbor Ministries (35 W. Tennessee Ave., McCaysville GA 30555).
