POSTER CONTEST

Who can enter?

Middle School and High School Students, attending in Fannin County, Georgia

First Place Award: $350 Second Place Award: $250 Third Place Award: $100

Call for Submissions:

1. Only one entry per participant and must be the work of one student. Only Fannin County students are eligible.
2. Poster concept, design, photographs and artwork must be ORIGINAL work of student entering.
3. Posters must be 11” x 17” or 18” x 24” in size, including any mat or border.
4. If charcoal, pastels, or glitter are used, poster must be laminated.
5. Please do not include glass, tacks, staples or any other breakable or sharp objects with your entry.
6. The following information must be on the back of the poster:First page upper right corner must contain name, school and grade, phone # and mailing address. The following form can be used and attached to the back of the poster.
7. Essays will be judged for creativity, artistic merit, impact, effectiveness in conveying the theme, originality, and and spelling of wordage.
8. Deadline is May 31, 2015. Flat shipping is recommended for the poster’s protection. All submissions must be postmarked by May 31, 2015. Any entry received after this date will not be considered. Posters should be sent to Litter Poster Competition, P.O. Box 429, Mineral Bluff, GA 30559
9. Winners will be notified by mail or phone by July 15, 2015.
10. Posters cannot be returned.
11. Winning submission will be printed in a local Fannin County newspaper.
12. Parents of the winners and the winners will be asked to sign a document verifying sole authorship of the poster and giving permission to publish.
