Fannin Falls to Union


The Fannin County High School golf team traveled to Butternut Golf Course in Union County yesterday, for a match against the Panthers.

The Lady Rebels fell 131-169, while the Rebels dropped their match 173-189.

Aubree Pack led the Fannin girls by shooting a 51. Bailey Whitener had a 56, while Maddie Sisson recorded a 62. Presley Porter shot a 68, while Samantha Henson finished her day with a 72.

For the Rebels, Michael Arp shot a 40 to lead the scoring pack. Alex Chastain had a 44, while Austin Panter shot a 51. Ben Bruce recorded a 54, while Hunter Crowder finished his day with a 62.

Fannin travels to Dawson today, for a tri-match against the Tigers and Gilmer. Thursday, Lumpkin comes to play Fannin at Old Toccoa Farms Golf Course.
