Mr. Charles Wesley Seabolt, age 65, of Epworth, GA, passed away March 28, 2016.

Born in Gilmer County, GA, he was the son of the late James Earl Seabolt. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his three grandchildren and his canine companion “Rex”. Charles loved Dirt Track Racing and was of the Baptist Faith. He had been a truck driver for over thirty years and was currently employed with K&S Tank Lines. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Larry Seabolt.

Survivors include his wife of forty eight years, Alice Burk Seabolt of the home; son, Wesley Seabolt of Epworth, GA; daughter, Amanda Seabolt of Ellijay, GA; mother, Erie Seabolt of Morganton, GA; grandchildren, Josie Millsaps, Kyla Seabolt and Elijah Kee; brothers and sister-in-law, Steve Seabolt of Mineral Bluff, GA and Randy and Robin Seabolt of Ellijay, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dale and Keith Culberson, Gay and Benny Cross all of Morganton, GA and Tammy and Randy King of Blairsville, GA.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Postell and Rev. Kevin Chapman officiating. Music will be provided by the Tim Postell Family. Interment will follow in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Frank “Red” Burk, Joe Burk, John Hammontree, Kevin Jones, Clayton Seabolt and Shawn Seabolt. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as honorary pallbearers: Frank Burk, Tommy Burk, Johnny Burk, Willie Burk, Lucas Burk, Joe Burk, T.W. Burk, Randy Seabolt, Steve Seabolt, Mark Wilson and Bobby Kee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Seabolt to the American Heart Association or to your local Gideons International.
