Roy Lee Allen age 45, of McCaysville GA passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Roy Lee was born on November 28, 1970 in Copperhill. He was a truck driver for Tows Septic Service and Jon Boy. Roy Lee was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and riding through the mountains. Roy Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Lee Cross Allen; grandparents, Holloway and Nora Lee Cross, Wilma (Fat Maw) Tucker and Ernest Allen; nephew, Jaxon Hardin and fathers-in-law, J.N. Turner and Ray Hardin.

He is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Brandi Turner Allen; son, Jacob Lee Allen (Valorie Coleman), daughter, Ava Rae Smith all of the home; granddaughter, Aubrie Marie Allen of McCaysville; canine companion, Patches Allen of the home; father, Leroy Allen of Copperhill; sister, Shiloh Hardin of Turtletown; mother-in-law, Linda Hardin of McCaysville; many aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. Jody Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Liberty Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Morrow, Scott Payne, Charlie Queen, Dennis Allen, Gabriel Montgomery, John Queen, Buddy Queen and Mark Turner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Allen, Dr. Denish Bhatia, Kendra Jones, Amy Caine, Tony Daniels, Glenn Reece, Scott Stewart, Joe Hayes, Leroy Allen, Greg Morrow, Staff of Tows Septic Service and Jon Boy and Staff of Quinn’s Greenhouse. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, March 21, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation, 95 White Bridge Road, Suite 300, Nashville, TN 37205.
