FANNIN COUNTY SHERIFF

During the evening of Feb. 24, 2016 deputies conducted a search of 2 individuals at a residence off Ridge Rd in the Cutcane area of Fannin County. Upon arriving at the residence deputies found Kevin Mashburn and Kaley Crawford in a Chevrolet pickup in the driveway.
During a search of that vehicle, approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine and $1,900 in cash was located inside the vehicle and another amount of methamphetamine was located inside Crawford’s purse. A search warrant was obtained and another large quantity of methamphetamine was located inside another vehicle at the residence. Firearms were also found.
The total amount of methamphetamine seized was approximately 1 pound. Both individuals are being held at the Fannin County Detention Center without bond at this time. Charges on Mashburn are Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Crawford is being charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug related Objects.
