Mrs. Frances Louise Goss, age 80 of Rome, passed away February 16, 2016 at Rocky Face. Mrs. Goss was born December 2, 1935 in McCaysville, GA to the late J.W. Godfrey and the late Effe Elrod Godfrey. A member of Floyd Springs United Methodist Church in Floyd County Georgia , she was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Tim Godfrey, sister, Edith Mashburn, sister, Dolly Mae Nichols, sister, Ella Mae Gray, brother, Arnold Godfrey, brother, Jay Godfrey, brother, Cecil Godfrey, husband, Clyde T. Goss.
Survivors include: son, Harold Mike (Judy) McNelley, daughter, Tammy Hannah (Steve Mitchell), grandchildren, Rusty Hannah, Jeremy McNelley, James McNelley & Joshua McNelley, great grandchildren, Kayde McNelley, Mia McNelley, Drake McNelley & Evan McNelley.
Funeral services: Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev Patrick Hopper officiating. Interment will follow in Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, February 19, 2016, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
