FCHS Announces Curriculum Night
Rebel's Corner January 22, 2016
Fannin County High School is holding Curriculum Night on Thursday, January 28, at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. This is an excellent time for parents and students to learn about the curriculum offered at FCHS. Students will soon begin the registration process for next year and this program will provide insight on classes and options available. The program will consist of three mini sessions where parents and students will meet with presenters in small groups. The topics to be covered are:
- Dual Enrollment/Move On When Ready—the value of students taking college courses off campus and requirements for acceptance;
- Advanced Placement Courses (AP)—the value of students taking college courses on campus; and
- HOPE Scholarships—the criteria for receiving and maintaining HOPE funds.
All interested parents and students are encouraged to attend. For more information contact the counselors, Jennifer Walker and Tammy Roberts at the school at 706-632-2081.
