K STEM Parachute – Addelyn Barnes

Our kindergarten students are studying gravity this 9 weeks. On Friday their STEM project was to create a parachute with string, napkins, and sticky dots. Then they used different weights to see how quickly the parachutes fell to the ground. Awesome!  All students are from Ms. Roberson’s West Fannin Elementary kindergarten class.

Our kindergarten students collected items for residents of the Blue Ridge Nursing Home. Kindergarten teacher Ms. Roberson headed the collection effort. All the donated items were brought to the nursing home on January 7th and the residents loved it!
