Mr. William “Jimmy” James Mull, Sr., age 72, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on January 20, 2016. Born in Fannin County, GA on December 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Frank and Mae Ledford Mull. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing and tinkering with items that needed to be fixed, especially small engines. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Holden Mull.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Angie and Lee Cox of Blue Ridge, GA, William, Jr. and Ginger Mull of Mineral Bluff, GA and Jason and A.J. Mull of Epworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Ed Pelfrey of Epworth, GA; grandchildren, Megan (Zach) Campbell, Madison Cox, Makenzie Cox, Matthew Cox, Austin Mull and Drayton Simpson; brother-in-laws, L.C. Stover of Kennesaw, GA and Stanley Cromwell of Blue Ridge, GA; niece, Brenda Setser of Mineral Bluff, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Mathis officiating. Music will be provided by Lisa Caylor. Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
