Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for December. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for December are: Jessica Westcott (Team 8A), daughter of Todd & Karyn Westcott of Blue Ridge; Matthew Shirah (Team 8A), son of Cliff & Julie Shirah of Blue Ridge; Shelby Pierce (Team 8B), daughter of Dustin & Keri Callihan of Blue Ridge; and Isaac Brooks (Team 8B), son of Kristie Greeson of Mineral Bluff.
