Two suspects have been arrested today, January 9th and two more are in the process of being identified after an armed robbery off Hardscrabble Road in Fannin County.

Jones a 23 year old from Austell, GA and Randall a 23 year old from Marietta are being held in the Fannin County Jail.
A group of 5 girls rented a cabin on January 8th in Rocking Chair Ridge subdivision to have a celebration, an 18 year old’s birthday party. The 5 girls were accompanied by 4 males.

Sometime during the evening one of the girls was contacted by a male relative asking to join them and was told he could come. Upon arrival the male relative had 3 other men with him.
Shortly after 6 AM on January 9th Fannin County authorities were contacted to report a robbery by 4 black males. The first 4 males reported being robbed at gunpoint by the other 4 males who arrived later. FYN spoke with Fannin County Sheriff Dane Kirby who told us he is not sure how many firearms were involved.
Apparently after the robbery the 4 suspects left the scene and then two of the suspects returned. Unaware that the male victims were in the basement on the phone with 911.

At this time two of the suspects have been apprehended and police are in the process of positive identification of the other two. Charges are pending at this time. No one was injured during the robbery. FYN will update as more information becomes available.
