Wallace Joe Duvall, age 59 of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Joe was born December 18, 1956 in Copperhill, TN to the late Roy Jackson Duvall and Pollie Ann Bell Duvall. A member of the Macedonia Baptist Church at Wolf Creek, he was preceded in death by his father, Roy Jackson Duvall. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to flea markets.
Survivors include mother, Pollie Ann Duvall, son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Jessica Duvall, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Judy Duvall and Lynn and Joan Duvall of Brentwood, TN, Three grandchildren, Bryer Jackson, Kinsey Shay and Bella, several nieces and nephews and also ex-wife, Rita Duvall.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Nave officiating. Interment will follow in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Stevens, Justin Owenby, Travis Latrell, Wesley Duvall, Zack Ratcliff, and Shaw Duvall.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 4, 2016 at the funeral home from 5-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.
