Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for October. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for October are: Hannah Cruse (Team 8A), daughter of Stephen & Becky Cruse of Morganton; Zachary Payne (Team 8A), son of James & Crystal Oliver of McCaysville; Abbey Arvidson (Team 8B), daughter of Nathan & Deana Daugherty of Mineral Bluff; Jade White (Team 8B), son of Kelly White of Blue Ridge; and Jade White (Team 8B), son of Jason White of Blairsville.
