Blue Ridge City Council Votes to Hire Attorney Firm for Investigation

News

A vote of 3 to 2 moved a motion forward to hire an attorney firm to investigate the Mayor and City Council at an unknown cost to taxpayers.  Could reach as high as a million dollar price tax with no clear direction or indication of what exactly the firm will be trying to find.  This was previously brought up by Council Member Angie Arp and the council voted on today, November 3rd, 2015.  A group of Blue Ridge City property owners are seeking council to see if they can pursue an action to make the liability of the cost of the firm be the burden personally of the Council Members voting to spend this much money on an investigation vs. making it a burden to the taxpayers.  FYN will bring you more as the information becomes available.  See portion of Council Meeting:
