WFES Students Grow Radishes in Raised Beds

West Fannin’s 4th and 5th grade students have 6 raised planting beds. The students have used the beds to learn about growing and tending to plants. They are learning about different types of soil and what works best in raised beds.  They planted various herbs, vegetables, and greens. Recently, they harvested their radishes and our cafeteria cut and served them to our 4th and 5th grade students.
