Marching band enthusiasts enjoyed a day of entertainment as the Fannin County Band Boosters hosted the 5th Annual Blue Ridge Mountain Marching Festival. More than 4,000 people attended the Blue Ridge Mountain Marching Festival that was held on Saturday, October 10th at Fannin County High School Stadium. There were 24 bands that performed during this festival, totaling more than 2,700 performers. In addition to Fannin County High School, others that attended include South Pauling High School, North Cobb High School, North Paulding High School, Lassiter High School, George Walton Academy, West Forsyth High School, Creekview High School, East Hall High School, Southeast Whitfield High School, Woodstock High School, Sprayberry High School, Hart County High School, Flowery Branch High School, Dalton High School, Gordon Lee High School, Pickens High School, Haralson County High School, Meadowcreek High School, Dawson county High School, Loganville Christian Academy, Robbinsville High School, Social Circle High School, and Mercer University Marching Band.
