Cecil Dean Seabolt: Obituary

Cecil Dean Seabolt, age 75 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill, TN. He was born on Monday, September 30, 1940 in Lumpkin County, GA to the late Homer David and Celia Magnolia Anderson Seabolt. Mr. Seabolt was a blacksmith with Cities Service. He was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle. Mr. Seabolt was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sue Bonds.

Survivors are his wife Marilyn Dale Seabolt of Blue Ridge, GA; son, Tim Seabolt of Blairsville, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and John D. McCoy of Jasper, GA and Alisa and Erick L. Walker of Signal Mountain, TN; brother, Tom Seabolt of McCaysville, GA; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at conducted on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Brother Joe Roberts and Brother J.T. Padgett officiating. Music will be by Pam and Joel Canada and Patsy Padgett. Interment will follow in the Damascus Cemetery in Lumpkin County, GA. Pallbearers will be Micah McCoy, Zach McCoy, Stanley Anderson, Kent Bonds, Aaron Anderson, John McCoy, Eric Walker and Devin Cordin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October, 25, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
