Fannin County High School FFA member Cole Quintrell competed in the Area 1 Tractor Operation and Maintenance Career Development Event. The event was held at Taylor Farms in Cartersville on September 22. Cole placed 6th out of 20 contestants. He had to take a written exam on general operation, safety and maintenance of a tractor, complete a problem solving practicum, orally answer pre warm up questions, and operate a tractor with an implement attached through a timed course. Cole is a junior at FCHS.
