Nolan Campbell, age 80, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his home. Mr.Campbell was born October 23, 1934 in Suits, NC to the late B.H. Campbell and the late Flossie Payne Campbell. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, farming and working outside. He was preceded in death by sisters,Deltha Mae Campbell, Jeanette Davenport, Helen Jordan, brothers, Earl Campbell, J.B. Campbell, Herbert Campbell, grandson, Daniel Campbell, brother in laws, Herbert Watkins, Benny Watkins, Glenn Watkins.

Survivors include: His wife of 59 years, Georgia Evelyn Watkins Campbell, Children, Tim (Laurel) Campbell, Sherry Henderson, Charlotte (Francis) Gillispi, Mary Lou (Tim) McMichen, brothers, Hoyt Campbell, Zack (Deloris) Campbell,and Charles Campbell, sisters, Doris (Helburn) Long, Ruth Ann (Quinton) Davenport, grandchildren, John T. Verena Campbell, Tyler Henderson, Drew Henderson, Jessica (Travis) Campell, Emily (Scott) Kennett, Rhys (Kaley) Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Bowen Campbell, Brynne Campbell,, Tim McMichen, great grandchildren, Caelen Campbell, Juilet Campbell, nieces and nephews also survive, sister in law, Regina Watkins, sister in law, Barbara Watkins.

Funeral services: Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the officiating Rev. Richard Campbell and Rev. Travis Childress. Music provided by Brenda Milsaps and Greg Campbell . Interment will follow in Salem #2 Baptist Church Cemetery . Pallbearers: Tyler Henderson, Drew Henderson, Rhys (Kaley) Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Bowen Campbell, Tim McMichen, Joel Jordan, George Watkins.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, October 17, 2015, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
