7-AAA Weekly Report and Stats for Week-6

franklin-county-gadawson-ga(2-0,3-2)The Franklin Lions are sitting up-top of the 7-AAA region with wins over Banks, 14-7 and Lumpkin, 29-8. The Lions are a senior heavy team, dressing 12 and have just as many juniors if not more. Last year Franklin made the final four defeating Fannin in their final game of the season. This year its looking like Franklin is going to take the 7-AAA region by force. The Lions face off against a tough Dawson County Tigers in Dawsonville, GA. Dawson County sits in second place in 7-AAA and very much a contender in this years field of teams. One of these two teams will earn its first loss in region play.

 

East Hall logo2west hall (1-1,1-4)The East Hall Vikings take on there cross town rival, (0-1,2-3)West Hall Spartans. The Vikings are coming off a 28-35 loss to Dawson County. West Hall is coming off their bye week after losing to Dawson County the week prior, 0-17. Last year both East Hall and West Hall led 7-AAA. No stats were available for either team.

 

fannin-county-galumpkin-county-ga  (0-1,2-3)The Fannin Rebels travel to Dahlonega, GA. to face off with a struggling (0-2,2-4) Lumpkin County Indians this Friday. The Rebels are looking to get their first region win this year and so are the Indians. QB Brad Davis is averaging 11.4 yards passing and a 97.4% QB rating. Tyler Collis looks to have a big night against a younger Indian team averaging 5.4 yards per carry and five touchdowns. Collis has found the end zone in 4 of 5 games. No stats were available on Lumpkin County.
