Mrs. Linda Joyce Estes, age 73, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Estes was born in Chattanooga, TN on September 5, 1942 to the late Donald Pemberton and Dorothy Kersy Permberton. She was a member of First Baptist Church McCaysville/Copperhill, a volunteer for Stitche of Lome and enjoyed knitting and shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Estes of Mineral Bluff; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Howard Rogers of Woodstock, GA and Teresa and Rick Jacobs of Chadds Ford, PA; three grandchildren, Zachary Jacobs, Samantha Jacobs, and Alexandra Jacobs.

Memorial services will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the First Baptist Church McCaysville/Copperhill with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. Music will be by Harry Gilbert, Ed Vest, and Clarence Burlingame. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Mrs. Estes may be made to Pruitt Hospice 6050 Appalachian Highway Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
