Clara Ruth Bearden Jones, age 87, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, GA. Born in McCaysville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bart and Lillie Stanley Bearden. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hayden Young Jones; son, Russell Hayden Jones, Sr.; and siblings, Carl Bearden, Doc Bearden, Carrie Rogers, Cora Holloway, and Katie Thurman.

She is survived by son, William Hayward Jones of Blue Ridge; grandson, Russell Hayden Jones, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Michael Jones, Jonathon Jones, Holly Jones, Taylor Jones, Madison Jones, and Kevin Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Terry Stuart officiating. Min. Jim Wright will lead songs. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Russell Jones Jr., Michael Jones, Jonathon Jones, William Queen, David Stuart, and Charles Holloway.
