Clifford Pye: Obituary

Mr. Clifford Pye, age 72, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Pye was born on March 7, 1943 in Hartford, CT to the late Willis Clifford Pye and Marjorie Sirles Pye. Mr. Pye retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Pye of the home; daughters, Kimberly Pye Fohr and her husband Richard of Plantation, FL, Krystal Pye of Davie, FL, and Koleen Pye of Coral Springs, FL; grand children, Austin Martin Donn, Tyler Hensley, Chase Hensley, and Kaitlyn Eileen Fohr; a sister, Sandra Brennan of Stowe, VT; and a sister in law, Lois Bond of Leesburg, FL.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Tim Taylor and Rev. Michael Morton officiating. Music will be by Margaret Ferguson and Lucie McKinney. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Elwin Byers, Richard Fohr, Eddie Bond, Tyler Hensley, Chase Hensley, and Austin Donn. The Pink Ladies of Fannin Regional Hospital will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends may visit the family on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church Local Missions Fund. Condolences may be made to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
