Coley Allen Wells: Obituary

Mr. Coley Allen Wells, age 88 of Blue Ridge, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, September 11, 2015 at his home. Mr. Wells was born April 17, 1927 in Griffin, GA to the late George Wells and the late Annie Bankston Wells. He was Baptist in faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Wells, and Kenneth Wells, and wife, Bette Bonner Wells. Mr. Wells bravely and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In his spare time, he enjoyed slow dancing.

Survivors include two sons, David Wells and Jon R. Wells, Sr., four grandchildren, Rodney Wells, Jon R. Wells, Jr., Clara McGinis, and Tracey Bailey. Also, several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild survive.

There are no funeral services planned at this time. He will be laid to rest in Griffin, GA by his loving wife, Bette.
