Brian Tesoriero, Spanish and Italian teacher at Fannin County High School, will host an enrollment and informational meeting for all students and community members interested in participating in the next educational tour to Italy and Greece in June of 2016. The meeting will be held Saturday, September 12 at 11:00am in room 115 E of the high school. Look for signs for parking and entering the building.
The 12-day tour will spend three days visiting the Parthenon, the Olympic Stadium and the temples of ancient Greece. The tour will include an overnight evening cruise to Ancona, Italy. Once in Italy the group will travel to Florence and see the Statue of David, The Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. After Florence, the next destination will be ancient and beautiful Rome, Italy. The highlights here will be the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain and Vatican City, the smallest country in the world! The tour will continue on to Pompeii, Sorrento and the beautiful Island of Capri.
