Clyde Marcus Ward, age 77 of Blue Ridge passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at the Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge. He was born on Tuesday, October 19, 1937 in Huber, GA to the late Edgar Ward and Mary Criswell Ward. Mr. Ward was a retired electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local Union Number 613 in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Camp Ward.
Survivors are step-daughters and husbands, Pat and Ike Smith of Sugar Hill, GA and Lynn and Gary Croteau of Daytona Beach, FL; brothers, Frazier Ward of Blue Ridge, GA, Bobby Ward of Jupiter, FL and Gene Ward of Smith River, CA; four grandsons, Robert Ward, Jeremy Alley, Jeffrey and Kevin Smith; niece and nephew also survived.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.
