Daily Prayer: 08/21

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:4-6.O God our Father, we rejoice in our faith that tells us of your love and divine presence with us. We are comforted to know that you hold the whole world in your hands. This gives us the courage to face whatever life presents today.

Thank you for the invitation to present all of our requests in prayer. This helps us not to be anxious about anything because when we place people and concerns into your hands, we know that you will handle the situations.

If this person who prays this prayer just now is anxious about many things, grant the peace that is available in seeing your omnipotence. In Jesus Name we pray.
