Fannin County Fire Department was dispatched to the area of the IGA in Mccaysville for the report of a fire behind one of the buildings. A Sheriff’s Deputy was in the area and responded also, He arrived on scene and advised dispatch that the fire was in the back-side of the Hometown Diner. Engine 4 and Medic 4 arrived on scene and deployed attack line, and extinguished the fire. Fire was extinguished and all further responce was cancelled.  Local and State Investigators are investigating the cause of the fire.

Engine 4  Engine 2  Medic 4  and 12 fire fighters responded to the fire.
