Mrs. Ronia Kaye Patterson, age 77, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home. She was born in Tucker, GA on June 25, 1938 to the late Albert Alexander Shellnut and Annie Mae Bowen Shellnut. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Guinn Warbington and William F. Patterson; daughter, Debra Warbington; a co-child, Michael Ostuni; and a sister, Chris Shellnut. Mrs. Patterson took care of the elderly in Tampa, FL, worked at the Women’s Shelter in Blue Ridge, GA, and most recently was employed by Ingles in Blairsville as a Florist.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Alan and Emily Warbington of Mineral Bluff, Tim and Tanya Warbington of Blue Ridge, and Donna Patterson and husband, Vincent Selle of Jacksonville, GA; co-children, Steve Ostuni of Mt. Park, GA, Jessica Huffman of Atlanta, GA, Joy Cox of Jasper, GA, Ken Cannata (Susie) of Houston, TX, Kathy Cannata of Tampa, FL, Angela Cannata of Tampa, and Joseph Cannata of Tampa; twin sister, Elizabeth Shellnut of Mineral Bluff; 13 grandchildren, 12 co-grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 9 co-great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Ronia’s Life was held August 13, 2015.
