Daily Prayer: 08/05

Proverbs 31:10-12 “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm all the days of her life.”

Divine Father, you have a perfect will for all of us. You guide us in the decision of who we are to marry and when we follow your leadership we find the mate you have willed us to have. It is a match made in heaven and lived out on the earth.

We thank you for spouses that are more precious to us than riches of jewels. In such a love there can be perfect trust for one can have full confidence that this relationship will bring nothing but good to the marriage.

We pray for young people who are searching for their life’s mate. Help them to rely on your guidance. We also pray for those who believe that they have chosen the wrong person with whom to live their lives. If they are believers, guide them in their feelings and decisions. We pray through Christ, our Lord.
