Mr. Robert Crusaw Miller: Obituary

Mr. Robert Crusaw Miller, age 91, of Blue Ridge passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Pruitt Health Care. Born in Fannin County, he was the son of the late Oscar and Martha Caroline Shook Miller. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and later worked as a truck driver for Atlanta Motor Lines.

His survivors include his wife, Jane Laura Stepp Miller of Blue Ridge; sons and daughters-in-law, John D. and Mikki Miller of Jasper and Don E. and Carol Miller of Blue Ridge; daughters Cathie J. Miller Hing of Jasper and Marjie E. Miller and Carter Devereaux of Blue Ridge; sister Ellaree Watkins of Ellijay; eight Grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Green officiating. Music will be provided by Beverly Thompson. Military Honors will be conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Roger Wilson, Danny Wilson, Terry Wilson, James Miller, Frank Miller, Kenneth Miller, Ronnie Miller, and Tommy Miller. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
