Mr. Joseph “Kyle” Ballew, age 33, of Turtletown, TN, passed away on July 27, 2015 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Ballew was a loving Husband and Father. He was a member of the Mt. Zion (Tumbling Creek) Baptist Church and an avid fisherman. Kyle is preceded in death by his grandparents; Jim and Marie Ballew, and Ferg and Jimmie Long; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Conrad and Debra Deal; and several other loving family members.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Dawn Ballew; children, Bradley and Baylee Ballew; parents, Joe and Susie Ballew all of Turtletown, TN; brother, Brandon (Carla) Ballew of Copperhill, TN; nieces and nephews, Kenzlie Ballew, Kloie Ballew, Carlie Ballew, Anthony Hayes, Shelby Loudermilk, Wil Gourley, Marshal Gourley and Jolay Gourley; and great nephew, Conrad Loudermilk.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Alex and Angie Deal. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion (Tumbling Creek) Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tommy Cherry, Kevin Hicks, Brandon Dockery, Clay Gourley, Anthony Hayes and Josh Loudermilk.
