Mr. U.L. Cole: Obituary

Mr. U.L. Cole, age 89, of Morganton, GA passed away July 12, 2015 in the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Cherokee County, NC he was the son of the late Mrs. Ezra Cole. He served his country in the United States Army. U.L. worked several jobs in his lifetime which included buying and selling property, driving a truck over the road and construction in his earlier years. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Juanita Edith Wilson Cole.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Vickie and Wayne Rutledge of Winder, GA, Joe Cole of Blue Ridge, GA, and Jerry and Pat Cole also of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Wanda Donaldson of Gastonia, NC and Jobin and Verdie Donaldson of Murphy, NC; grandchildren and their spouses, Julie and husband Kell Pihera, Dianna Rutledge, Tina and Justin Russell, Jordan Cole, Kaitlyn Cole, Jayden Cole and Tony Brown; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Russell, Kelsey Russell, Matthew Brown, Andrea Brown and Savannah Brown.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Pope and Rev. Doug Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Marvin Patterson, Benny Cole, Duane Cole, David Head, Marcus Head, and Michael Head. Military honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
