BRES Students Enjoy Train Ride

The Blue Ridge Elementary School students & staff enjoyed a wonderful train ride aboard the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and a picnic at the Fannin County Recreation Park on May 7, 2015. This Accelerated Reader Event was sponsored by the generous folks of Woodsmen of the World, QMS Services, Inc., Blue Ridge Kiwanis, High Country Farms, LLC., High Country Heating & Air, LLC., First Community Mortgage Group, Kevin Panter Insurance, The Sisson Corporation, Town & Country Furniture, Milestones Learning Center, Riverstone MD., John Thomas & Family, Walmart of Blue Ridge, Amy Mason & Family, and Justin Bramlett & Family. This excursion would not have been possible without their financial assistance! A big shout out also goes to Jackie Jones Chevrolet-GMC for their donation of electronic notebooks to three lucky recipients at our annual end of the year drawing! Our students are truly blessed by such bighearted family and community members. Thank you!
