Daily Prayer: 05/24

Psalm 18:28-30 “For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness. For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God-his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.”Into our darkness you have come, Lord Jesus, to give us light. Now we can see what we could not understand before. We did not know the weight of our sin upon you. We could not change those powerful forces within us without your divine touch. We were unknowing of how we caused others to grieve.

The day is bright before us because we live in the sonshine of divine love. We can move with determination through the troops of adversity. We can leap over the walls of impossibilities. We can do this because we have discovered that your word is true and all that you have promised us will come to pass.

So we do not whine and look upon ourselves as victims. We are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us and gave himself for us.

Amen.
