The Technology Student Association from Fannin County recently traveled to the 2015 State Conference in Athens, GA. Students competed in events ranging from Extemporaneous Speech to Robotics.
The students placed in the following events at the State level:
Technology Bowl – Middle School, Waylon Arrowood, Grant Shepherd, and Patrick Conner
Technology Bowl – Middle School, Written Exam – Waylon Arrowood was a top ten finisher
The Lego Robotics team (middle school) – Grant Shepherd, Waylon Arrowood, Patrick Conner, Brayden Foster, and Jordan Ensley were a top ten finisher:
Brayden Foster was 16th overall in the CO2 dragster race and was a Best in Show for the design.
Extemporaneous Speech – High School, Tyler Wheat placed in the top ten
