Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Pauline Jenkins Cuthbertson, age 98, of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in Pruitt Health Care of Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Cuthbertson was born on June 5, 1916, a daughter of the late Edgar Jenkins and the late Alice Foster Jenkins. She moved to the north Georgia area in 1981, coming from Hallendale, Florida. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Blairsville. Mrs. Cuthbertson retired from Southern Bell (now Bell South) after 30 years of service, and was a member of American Telephone Pioneers. Her husband, Charles Cuthbertson, passed away in 1994; and she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Pierce Tolley, and a son, William Pierce.
Surviving family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gail Pierce of Morganton; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Cuthbertson will be scheduled at a later date.
