Mr. Ralph Douglas Kinser, age 72, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on April 13, 2015 at his home. Born in Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late William Russell Kinser and Ethel German Kinser. Mr. Kinser was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden. Mr. Kinser had worked for a number of years for Jones Vending and was a devoted member of O’Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Monetta Odom Kinser; daughters, Karen Regina Quinn and Denise Campbell and husband, Rev. Richard Campbell all of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Kyle Reynolds Quinn, Nathan Campbell and wife Brooke Campbell, Natashia Farrell and husband, Brian Farrell; great grandchildren, Sarah and Silas Campbell, Alaina Flowers, Alden and Cambrie Farrell; father figure, Robert Green also of Blue Ridge, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Cantrell and Rev. Ronnie Abernathy officiating. Music will be provided by the O’Zion Baptist Church Choir. Pallbearers will be Gary Stiles, Larry Crisp, Nathan Odom, Jody Kinser, Michael Kinser, and Jason Kinser. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-9 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
