Mrs. Mary Margaret Sutton, age 77 of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at her home.Mrs. Mary Margaret Sutton, age 77 of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Sutton was born April 4, 1937, in Columbus, MS to the late Clarence David Hartley and the late Frances Mae Barton Hartley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kermit Keith Sutton.

Mrs. Sutton was a retired secretary for the Colgate Palmolive Co. She was an active member of Berea Baptist Church, a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, and a member of the travel club. She enjoyed line dancing and traveling.

Survivors include: son, David Todd, brother, Robert Lee Hartley, granddaughter, Skyler Helena Robinson.

Funeral services: Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Helms and Rev. John Sweata officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, February 28, 2015, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
