Daily Prayer: February 18, 2015

Philippians 4:6 “ Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”O Lord, our God, we are thankful that we can bring every matter that concerns us to You. There is nothing too big or too small for You. All of life is involved in our commitment to You. So may our lives reflect an abiding confidence in the God that we have come to know through the cross.

We thank You for our heritage and everything in our past that makes us what we are today. Your grace has abounded to cover our sin. Your understanding has sustained us in dark hours, and Your forgiveness has restored us when we have fallen.

May we walk hand in hand with You even though it may lead through the valleys or up the steep mountains until the time we shall cross the Jordan to the other side of life; in Jesus name.

Amen.
